If You Believe – Out-of-this-world:
Storytelling with John Kirk

Join us for some out of this world storytelling as we celebrate this year’s Summer Reading Challenge Space Chase, inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing.
If You Believe… is a trio of stories suitable for 3-11 year olds including Jonathan Emmett’s Bringing Down the Moon, Simon James’ The Boy from Mars and a specially commissioned story by Dom Conlon, its guaranteed to be a blast!
 
Suitable for ages 3 - 11 years.
Over 8s can attend unaccompanied, however parents/carers are welcome to stay if they wish.

Make Your Own Space Craft from Junk

Create a Space Ship from junk. Drop in to one of our free craft sessions and turn recycled materials into something out of this world!
 
Suitable for ages 3 - 12 years. Please note: Under 8’s must be accompanied by an adult.

The Aliens Are Coming

Space Chase Comic Workshop

Join Nigel Baines, for some out of this world comic-book style fun. 
 
Learn how to create your own comic books, cartoons and lots of other graphic ways of telling stories.
 
Suitable for ages 8+
Over 8s can attend unaccompanied, however parents/carers are welcome to stay if they wish.
 
 

Animal Edutainment 

Mon 19 Aug, Tues 20 Aug & Fri 23 Aug 2019

From cute to gross, come and meet some of the creatures that have ventured into space. Learn all about them and touch them, if you dare! Children will be given the chance to handle some of the animals supervised by a ranger, in a way that ensures both children and animals remain calm and confident.
 
Not suitable for under 3’s as animals need to be carefully handled.
Children under 8yrs must be accompanied by an adult.
