Over the past week good progress has been made with repairs to the flood damage at Luton Central Library and we are happy to announce that, from Friday 13 April, most of the adult library will be open to public.
There is more work to be done, so please be aware that while ongoing repair work is being carried out, lighting levels may be affected and there will limited access to some areas of the library such as the IT suite and balcony on floor one. Please ask staff for assistance if required.
Additionally Luton Central Library is currently undergoing some repair work on the flat roof to the front of the building. Due to these repairs scaffolding has been erected around the library enterance, however please be assured that parts of the library are still open to public, along with our other branch libraries.
Thank you for your patience and support.
