Bugs (Coming Soon)

An interactive story based on the mini beasts found in the park around Wardown House. Learn about Metamorphosis and make some beautiful butterfly wings to take home.

Venue: Wardown House, Museum and Gallery

Exploring Wheels

Using the Quentin Blake’s story ‘Mrs Armitage on Wheels’, children explore our collection of carriages and use wheels as a starting point for sorting, measuring and describing activities.

Venue: Stockwood Discovery Centre

Explore the gardens to find out more about the animals and insects who live there, and then enjoy the interactive story of Neville the Squirrel. Finally make a mask of your creature to take back to school.
