Luton Film Factory presents

Based on James Baldwin's unfinished manuscript, the film tracks the lives and assassinations of Baldwin’s friends: Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X and Medger Evers. While its partly anchored in the struggle for equaity in the 1960s, I Am Not Your Negro is a film about what it means to be black in America today.

Written by James Baldwin. Directed by Raoul Peck. With the voice of Samuel L. Jackson.

Nominated for a Academy Award in 2017.
