Schools and your local public library

We welcome class visits to local libraries so that children can discover how to use the public library and are encouraged to read for pleasure.

A librarian will visit the school to promote public library services and special activities such as the Summer Reading Challenge. We will also attend parents evenings and other events where there is an opportunity to promote services and the love of reading.

Luton Culture has a Schools Library Service which provides support, books, information and advice for schools and school libraries, through service level agreements.
