Luton Central Library is located in St. George's Square between the Mall Shopping Centre and the Galaxy Centre.

Luton Central Library, St. George's Square, LUTON, LU1 2NG
Luton Central Library has the widest selection of novels, non-fiction books, newspapers and magazines. The books are available in different formats - large print, paperback or on CD. There is also a good selection of music and film CDs and DVDs. There are computers available for library members on the ground, first and second floors. Wi-fi is available on the first, second and third floors. Please ask a member of staff for details on how to access the network.
The ground floor has the children's library, quick choice selection of books and quick use public computers. The Luton Visitor Information Centre and Box Office is also on the ground floor.
On the first floor you will find the main enquiry point where staff will be able to help you find what you want. A fax service is available here.
The second floor is the quiet study area. The Local Studies collection and Family History room are on this floor. Please make sure your mobile phone is switched off or is on silent in this area.

Getting Here
By Bus / By Train / By Road
Most Luton bus services stop outside the Galaxy Centre or in Library Road, to the rear of the Mall shopping centre. The library is located between the Mall and the Galaxy Centre.
There are frequent trains from London St Pancras and Bedford, stopping at Luton Town station. The library is a few minutes walk from the station.
From M1 southbound, take junction 11 and follow the A505, signs towards Luton town centre. From M1 northbound, take junction 10 and follow signs to Luton town centre. There is a small car park behind the library operated by the Mall shopping centre. A map showing town centre parking is available on the Luton Borough Council web site.
