About the role
We seek a dynamic Director of Operations and Customer Care to maximise our operational efficiency and customer engagement potential and play an active part in growing our exciting and ambitious cultural charity. With 13 sites, 157 staff, and 1.5m visitors we have created this new role to lead the strategic and effective operation of our cultural properties and trading activity across Museums, Libraries, Arts Centres, Creative Workspaces, Community Centres, Gardens and Historic sites. You will strategically grow the potential of our staff, volunteers, sites, technology, services and trading enterprises in order to increase customer use, sales, satisfaction, resources and donations. Luton Culture is charitable Trust with a focus on heritage, arts, community development and learning. We provide Luton communities and our visitors with inspiring, educational and enjoyable cultural experiences. We do this by managing and animating our cultural venues which include museums, theatres, arts centre, gardens, libraries and community centres.
